There are very little parking possibilities in the city. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you travel by public transport. In addition, the Christmas market in Villeneuve is only 500m from the train station.

Every weekend, except November 30th/December 1st, a direct special train will connect Fribourg to Vevey, Montreux, and Villeneuve, stopping in Romont, Palézieux, and Puidoux. The 50% RailAway discount also applies, and tickets, valid only on this special train, can be purchased through all usual channels.
